Not into stanced/flush looking cars, but damn this is clean. I love it.

Very good looking car. I wish I was $6,900 richer.

Fix the stance and that's a winner.

The constant internal battle of "1-series vs. E30" for my next DD is always made worse by examples like this.

Finalizing a deal on this little gem today, E30s are played out, I'm moving up...

Right?

Agreed! I do like the wheels, but the super low look isn't for me, and there are a lot of speedbumps around here.

E36? I like them too, but the older BMWs appeal to me so much more aesthetically. It's a matter of individual taste, I think, as all of them have their own appeal and positives. Congratulations on your new car!

Indeed. I can't get that blue out of my head. I keep going back to the forum posts. The car doesn't really stand out in any way, but all together it is just a clean, beautiful car.

Well I already have a carb'd 2002. Hence the E30 or 1-series want.

1998 E36 318ti, pretty cheap and slow for now, untill I swap the S52 sitting in the corner of my garage. Older car appeals to me as well, I was looking for a good E28 for some amount of time, even found a rare M5 in Connecticut for $10K . But was sold before I could even go look at it. Needed something good to drive in the winter when my MZ roadster is in storage..

Nice! I'm jealous, haha.

Awesome. That sounds like a pretty fun swap, too. I'd love to do that to a project car someday, but not until I have my own garage/more tools/experience.
